NEW in 2013. Exquisitely simple white blooms with rich purple spotted interiors make a sophisticated summer display. Foxglove ‘Dalmation Cream’ produces well branched, compact, dwarf plants that flower surprisingly quickly in their first year from sowing. The upright flower spikes of this superb cottage garden perennial are ideal for adding height to the back of borders or planting en masses for an enchanting, informal bedding scheme.
Sow ‘Dalmation’, the fastest flowering foxglove from seed, and you’ll be enjoying its stunning flowers in only 16 weeks! Well branched and compact, attractive dwarf plants produce good quality flower spikes in all three colours. Each flower trumpet sports the ‘spots’ that give Dalmation its name.
Sowing Instructions:
UK-site: Sow Foxglove seeds from January to May on the surface of a good seed compost, and cover with a light sprinkling of compost of vermiculite. Place in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25C (64-77F) or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag until after germination, which usually takes 14-30 days. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged and do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

International site: Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays and cover with a very light sprinkling of vermiculite. Seal container inside a polythene bag and keep at a temperature of between 18-29ºC (65-85ºF). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination usually takes 14-30 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Height: 40-50cm.
Aftercare:
Plant out when plants are large enough, or over winter plants in a cold frame and plant out the following spring after all risk of frost has passed, 30-45cm (12-18-in) apart. For best results, provide any ordinary, well-drained soil in part shade.

Sowing Instructions:
Pre-chill seed. Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. After sowing, seal container inside a polythene bag and place at a temperature of 15-21C (60-70F) for 3-6 weeks. Then, place the container and bag into a refrigerator (not freezer) for a further 3-6 weeks. After this cold period return container to 15-21C (60-70F). Germination can be slow and erratic. Examine container regularly and carefully transplant individual seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. If germination has not occurred within this period, then repeat the cycle as shown above.
Growing Instructions:

Dejligt! Held og lykke med såningen :-)
